I dont know what it is but there's something quite magical about fraises des bois. Those tiny wild strawberries that pop up willy nilly when they feel like it. They're always slightly hidden. Hiding from preying eyes. I used to think that wherever there were strawberries, there were fairies too. We found a huge patch this weekend, I've never seen so many in one go. If my fairy theories are right, then I think we found the fairy kingdom.
