Tales from the Kitchen Garden

I went to Wales for my rural fix over the Bank Holiday weekend. The Cub can think of nowhere better to hang out than the kitchen garden. Practically everything he touches can be eaten. His definition of heaven. It's one of my favourite times of year, garden wise. Things are starting to come out or at least thinking about it. There's so much anticipation.

I adore the colour of the red currants at this half-ripe stage

A few of the strawberries left after the Cub's visit

Lunch. Last few asparagus, strawberries, gooseberries, lettuce and parsley
