It was my brother's birthday yesterday and we had a little soiree for him, chez nous. I felt like getting crafty in the kitchen and made a rather tasty- if I do say so myself- chicken pie and a vision of a cheesecake. I should probably admit now that it was Mr Tesco's Finest that actually baked the cake. But I had the lead role in decorating - there was a bit of a pompom theme going on.
