Wholesome Welsh Weekend

I've spent the last few days in Wales being wholesome. The Cub liked to spend most waking hours in the kitchen garden helping himself to as many raspberries, tomatoes and plums he could possibly cram into his tiny mouth.
I'm completely mesmerised by the rainbow chard which wouldn't look out of place in a sweet shop.

Tales from the Kitchen Garden

I went to Wales for my rural fix over the Bank Holiday weekend. The Cub can think of nowhere better to hang out than the kitchen garden. Practically everything he touches can be eaten. His definition of heaven. It's one of my favourite times of year, garden wise. Things are starting to come out or at least thinking about it. There's so much anticipation.

I adore the colour of the red currants at this half-ripe stage
